Waar komt erfpacht vandaan?<\/h2>\n

Voor Belgen is het eigendomsrecht van een woning en die van de grond waar het op staat, onlosmakelijk met elkaar verbonden. Dat hoeft echter niet, en dat hebben we te danken aan de Romeinen<\/strong>. Zij stelden overheidsgronden ter beschikking van bekwame boeren onder een vorm van erfpacht. Omdat die gronden nog ontgonnen moesten worden was de pacht eerder een bescheiden tot onbestaande som, maar daarmee was de basis voor erfpacht<\/strong> zoals we die vandaag kennen, wel gelegd.
