Het is natuurlijk geen geheim dat een spaarrekening niets opbrengt maar heb je er al eens bij stilgestaan dat je spaargeld steeds minder waard is? Op het eerste zicht lijkt er niet veel aan de hand. Het bedrag op die rekening lijkt nagenoeg onveranderd, wat op zich al een spijtige zaak is, maar het verdwijnt in ieder geval niet. De veranderingen vinden echter plaats in de supermarkten, je energiefacturen, het tankstation, enzovoort. Terwijl het bedrag op je spaarrekening inderdaad hetzelfde blijft, stijgen de prijzen van de producten, grondstoffen en diensten die je koopt, waardoor je steeds minder kan kopen met dat bedrag. Oftewel, je koopkracht daalt. Stilstaan is wel degelijk achteruitgaan, het is tijd om in beweging te komen.
